Email from Mom
My nana’s dog, Rex used to ride the bus from JB& S Lees where she lived (and my dad worked) to go to West Bromwich and back. He was well known to the riders and would wait outside to jump on the platform and then sometimes take it back or walk home…..He was a very smart dog and would do tricks for sausage links, including standing up and turning around… he also fetched the paper each day. I think my dad taught him that one. Nice old dog.
